Cave devotionals are an amazing companion your study time and your devotional time with God. Every devotional has its own journey and is unique although all devotionals connect you to the Word of God. As we take this journey together, I challenge you to do your best to silence every negative voice in the following 5 areas:
- Relationships
- Environments
- Music
- TV
- Social Media
Every sense we have is a gate into our soul. Everything listed above, when unhealthy, can bombard you with negativity that will paralyze your ability to move upward. The things we see, hear, smell, touch and taste leave a residue in our minds that filters into our hearts. We must take control of our “gates” and revoke access to anything that’s damaging you. Let’s set some criteria for what is going to come into your gates during the next 21 days. Let’s create two folders (Positive and Negative). Assign everything that you do: relationships, environments, songs, TV shows and social media posts to a mental folder.
It can only stay in the POSITIVE folder if it:
- Adds holistic value to your life (Mind, Body and Soul)
- Contributes to helping you accomplish your destiny
- Helps to eliminate negative thoughts of unbelief, fear and apprehension
Put anything that does not meet the criteria listed above into the NEGATIVE folder. We are applying this principle to the food we eat as well. The mouth is a gate that leads to a lot of our unhappiness, sickness, and disease. Eat lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and lean, grilled meats. Don’t consume anything that has been processed which includes fast food or junk food. Make the next 21 days a complete cleanse and recalibration. (visit: cavedevotionals.com for more nutrition tips)
For best results, make an effort to guard every “gate” for the next 21 days so we can work together and create the best environment possible for healing, clarity, and personal breakthrough in your life.
