Trusting in the Unseen: How to Move Forward
Scripture: Ephesians 1:17 – “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”
In our journey of faith, there are moments when we encounter spiritual truths that defy our human understanding. We are faced with the challenge of trying to comprehend the ways of a God who is beyond our comprehension. It is in these moments that we must resist the urge to rely solely on our intellect and instead lean into our faith.
Imagine standing before a closed door. You do not spend your time analyzing its construction or origins; you simply turn the knob and walk through. In the same way, when God presents us with opportunities or challenges, we are called to trust and obey without overthinking. We are called to walk through the doors He opens for us, knowing that they are tailor-made for our journey.
Jesus Himself faced trials and tribulations, and as His followers, we are not exempt from experiencing the same. We are reminded that the servant is no greater than the master, and that with great blessings come great burdens. There will be times when we may not feel favored or understand why certain things are happening in our lives. In those moments, we are called to trust in God’s plan and move forward in faith.
It’s important to remember that everything we experience, whether joyful or uncomfortable, is working together for our good. We may not always see the bigger picture, but we can trust that God is working all things for our benefit. As we navigate the complexities of life, let us trust in the wisdom and revelation of the Spirit, knowing that God’s ways are higher than our ways. Let us walk through the doors He opens for us with confidence, knowing that He is leading us on a path towards greater understanding and fulfillment.
