If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
Isaiah 1:19
Resisting the need to figure out why God said something is part of the journey for many of us. Having a long-range view of what victory is will sometimes cause us to look beyond the fact that our next victory is wrapped in our next act of obedience.
In the Western world, we are disadvantaged because democracy gets us acclimated to ‘having a say’ or casting a vote on what happens to us. The reality of our spiritual walk is that we are indebted to what God has said and must walk in step with His word for our lives rather than our opinions. When the two conflict, we experience emotional turmoil because our current situation is not ‘what we thought it would be’.
Today, make the decision to submit again to the sovereign will of God. When we begin our journey with Christ, submission is usually a complete sentence. As we grow and move through experiences, submission becomes part of the sentence. Make your submission total today as Christ gave His total life for you.
Today’s Confession: God, I submit completely to your will for my Life. Amen
